Webinar Details

Vendor payments are no longer a matter of an invoice and a check. Credit cards, P-cards, ACH and wires bring speed and convenience, along with new openings for fraud. This 90-minute check, ACH and P-card fraud prevention webinar explains how these schemes work and how to stop them.

Drawing on insight from investigations of actual fraudsters, it looks at who commits each major type of payments fraud, vendor and billing schemes that take advantage of control gaps, and electronic schemes like ACH hijacking, spear-phishing and social engineering. Check counterfeiting, forgery and tampering are covered too.

You'll also learn to separate outside schemes from inside attacks, assess fraud risk on the payment methods you rely on, and spot red flags early.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

According to the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), more than 73% of organizations are targeted by payments fraud. Not every attempt causes a loss, but criminals remain aggressive, and organizations that don't keep up risk lost card data, new check fraud and hijacked ACH and wire accounts, from outsiders or employees.

Designed for CPAs, CFOs, controllers, treasurers, AP and treasury teams, internal auditors, compliance officers and risk managers.
