Webinar Details

Managing one leave law is hard enough. Handling several at once is harder, especially as court decisions and federal rules require employers to consider multiple types of leave or accommodation when an employee asks for one.

This 60-minute webinar separates the laws and explains what each requires: the FMLA, ADA, USERRA, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation and HIPAA, along with relevant case law.

It then cross-references the laws to show how they interact, and gives HR a simple, practical toolbox for working out how each one applies alongside the others so compliance is maintained.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

Leave law compliance is complicated, and overlapping obligations make mistakes more likely. This session gives you a clear, practical way to sort out which laws apply to a request and how they fit together.
