Webinar Details

Domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking affect the workplace more than most employers realize, driving absenteeism, turnover, higher health costs and lost productivity. Laws now protect employees affected by domestic violence, including leave rights and notice requirements for employers.

This 110-minute webinar on domestic violence leave compliance defines domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking in the workplace, reviews statistics and the impact on different industries, and explains employer obligations when these issues come up.

The presenter brings a background in sexual assault prevention and court-based victim advocacy. You'll learn to recognize warning signs, how courts encourage non-judgmental disclosure, how to build a checklist for leave and notification, and how to plan for volatile situations to reduce risk.
