Webinar Details

Funding uncertainty, cutbacks and clients facing trauma and hardship leave many professionals close to their limit. This 60-minute burnout prevention and stress resilience webinar gives you practical tools for staying healthy and keeping your team together.

The fun, interactive program covers burnout prevention and recovery, psychological hardiness and stress resilience, and a closing set of tips on humor, Natural SPEED and brain agility. You'll learn ways to cope with loss and change, set boundaries in a positive way and disarm power struggles that hold people back.

You'll also pick up team structures and exercises that build a more inclusive, 'helmets off,' we're-in-this-together culture.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

During rapid change, personal resilience and healing humor shape both productivity and emotional well-being. The same skills affect how well we empathize, connect and partner with others, and that in turn shapes how supportive and collaborative a team can be.

Everyone from front-line staff to senior managers will gain tools to recognize stress and burnout warning signs and to build stress, conflict and change resilience in themselves and the people they work with or manage.

AREA COVERED

  • Recognizing stress 'smoke signals' and the four stages of burnout
  • The six R's of burnout recovery
  • Managing transitions with research-based psychological hardiness
  • Finding creative potential in letting go, and the eight F's for managing loss and change
  • Saying no constructively to colleagues and higher-ups
  • Defusing power struggles with courageous good questions and affirming 'I' messages
  • Reducing status tensions and building trust
  • Team exercises, structures and strategies for managing stress, inclusion and collaborative problem-solving
  • Closing tips on humor, Natural SPEED and brain agility, plus the 'Shrink Rap'
